Laura Petrie Laura is 15 years old and is coached by Linda Paterson. Laura has represented Scotland twice, and last year placed 33rd in the Junior Women division at the European Championships. This year she will again compete in the Junior Women division. Laura has been twirling since she was four years old and during that time has won the Scottish League of Merit two years running. This year the choreography for Laura’s freestyle was set by Johnny Warnimont from Belgium

Symone McEvoy Symone is ten years old and has been twirling since the age of three. She has won several major titles including – UK Freestyle Champion, Scottish Champion and League of Merit winner. Symone trains at least five times per week and is coached by Jo-ann Robertson. This year Symone will be representing Scotland for the first time in the Junior Woman division, and will be twirling to music from the children’s classic Pinocchio. |

Samantha Finnigan Samantha has been twirling for nine years and will represent Scotland in the Junior Women and Junior Pairs divisions. Samantha is a member of Jo’s Troupe in Kilwinning and is coached by Jo-ann Robertson. She has won various national titles and is now looking to turn her attention to the international arena. Samantha trains at least five times a week and is excited about travelling to Dublin in July.

Lauren Smith Lauren has been twirling for fourteen years and has represented Scotland five times. This year she will be twirling in the Senior Women division and has chosen to twirl to Steam Heat from the musical Fosse. In her twirling career Lauren has won many national titles including – Scottish Champion, British Overall Champion and she also placed 9th in the 2000 Grand Prix. Lauren is coached by Linda Paterson and a member of North East Fife Baton Twirlers. |

Alanna Dardas Alanna has represented Scotland on four previous occasions, her proudest moment coming in 2000 when she was placed 7th in the Junior Women division of the Grand Prix. This year Alanna will be competing in the Senior Woman division. As an accomplished athlete, Alanna has many titles to her name including – UK Freestyle Champion, British Open Freestyle Champion and Scottish Champion. Alanna is coached by Jo-ann Robertson and this year will be twirling to Eva Cassidy’s Fields of Gold. |

JUNIOR PAIR - Lauren Walker & Samantha Finnigan Lauren is ten years old and is coached by Jo-ann Robertson. She will be representing Scotland in the Junior Pairs division with her partner and friend Samantha. Lauren has been performing pairs with Samantha for two years – last year they were made UK Freestyle Pairs Champions. Lauren is very excited about travelling to Dublin and is looking forward to making new friends from all over Europe. |

JUNIOR TEAM - Vision Vision have been together for three years and their proudest moment came at the 2001 European Cup of Clubs where they won the bronze medal in the juvenile team division. Vision is coached by Jo-ann Robertson and have worked with Alexandra Boissinot and Bertrand Royer from France. This years team has six members who are – Ashleigh McTaggart, Alanna Dardas, Kim Cousins, Lauren Walker, Symone McEvoy and Samantha Finnigan. |

JUNIOR GROUP - Destiny Destiny have been together for just under a year. As members of Jo’s Troupe Baton Twirling and Fitness club all ten members are coached by Jo-ann Robertson. The group trains together at least three times per week and are excited to be going to Dublin to represent their club and country at the 2003 Cup of Clubs. Destiny’s members are – Kim Cousins, Claire Summers, Kayleigh Stobie, Charlene Whylie, Samantha Finnigan, Alanna Dardas, Ashleigh McTaggart, Ainsley Gilston, Symone McEvoy and Lauren Walker. |
